Islamabad, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), emphasized the importance of fostering entrepreneurship among students to bolster the economy and the start-up ecosystem in Pakistan. This statement was made during his address to the students at Roots International Schools (RIS), Gulzar-e-Quaid Branch, Rawalpindi, where he served as Chief Guest for the Student Council Body oath-taking ceremony.
According to Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bakhtawari highlighted the critical role of youth in Pakistan's future and called for government action to integrate entrepreneurship education from the school level. He asserted that such education would equip students with skills and competencies essential for personal and professional success, encouraging them to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges and become successful entrepreneurs.
The ICCI President also pointed out that promoting entrepreneurship in students would lead to the creation of new businesses and jobs, thereby addressing unemployment and economic challenges more effectively. During the event, RIS students took an oath to perform their duties with honesty and to the best of their abilities, committing to being responsible members of the Student Council Body and adhering to the rules and regulations of RIS.
