Srinagar, June 23, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader, Zafar Akbar Butt has asked the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, to fulfil the promises made by the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, to the Kashmiris of give them their inalienable right to self-determination. Zafar Akbar Butt in a statement in Srinagar said that the Kashmiri people would not protest on Manmohan’s visit to the territory if he fulfilled the commitments of Nehru.

He said that the Indian Prime Minister should observe the ground situation himself to see what the Indian forces had done with the innocent Kashmiris through fake encounters, custodial killings, tortures, arrests and use of anti-human weapons like paper guns and pellet guns.
