According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred during a cordon and search operation conducted by Indian troops in the forests near Gobel and Thulthuli villages within the Orchha area of Narayanpur district. Officials involved in the operation have labeled the deceased as Naxalites, a term used to describe Maoist insurgents in India.
