Indian Navy Officer Arrested for Human Trafficking Operation Using Forged Documents

Mumbai, An Indian Navy officer, Lt Commander Vipin Kumar Dagar, was arrested in Colaba, south Mumbai, for his involvement in a scheme that illegally sent individuals to South Korea using forged documents.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the arrest was conducted by the Mumbai Crime Branch, which revealed that Dagar was part of a gang that facilitated travel to South Korea for monetary gains. Following the arrest, the Indian Navy has pledged full cooperation with the law enforcement authorities involved in the investigation.

The operation involved sending 8 to 10 people to South Korea, with each transaction costing about Rs 10 lakh. The Navy has expressed its commitment to uphold stringent standards of conduct and will take appropriate action to ensure accountability and integrity among its personnel.
