Jammu, Senior National Conference leader Rattan Lal Gupta has openly criticized the BJP-led central government’s governance in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting widespread public discontent.
According to Kashmir Media Service, during a party function in Hiranagar, Kathua, Gupta, who serves as the Provincial President of NC Jammu, linked the significant voter turnout in the recent parliamentary elections to the people’s frustration with the administration’s policies under New Delhi’s control. He pointed out severe issues like shortages of drinking water, poor healthcare services, and unreliable electricity supply, which he attributed to the BJP’s mismanagement.
Gupta emphasized, “The unprecedented turnout in the recent Lok Sabha elections is a clear and unequivocal message from the people of Kashmir,” indicating a broad-based exasperation with recruitment scandals, administrative failures, and ongoing neglect by the central government.
