Indian paramilitary man commits suicide in Jharkhand

Medininagar, July 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): An Indian paramilitary man committed suicide in the Jharkhand state in India.

The 31-year-old Indian paramilitary man, identified as Pranjal Nath, committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at CRPF headquarters located near Chiyanki village of the Palamu district of the State.

The exact cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained. The body has been sent for postmortem to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital, Palamu, Assistant Superintendent of Police Rishav Garg said. The deceased was a resident of the Pilkhuwa locality of Tezpur in Assam and had come back on July 8 after two months leave.
