Interior Minister Naqvi Discusses Bilateral Ties with Chinese Consul General Zhao

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi engaged in comprehensive discussions with Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren in Lahore today, focusing on the enhancement of bilateral relations, the progress of CPEC projects, and the security of Chinese nationals in Pakistan.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting covered several crucial areas including the ongoing developmental projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the safety measures in place for Chinese citizens working across Pakistan. Minister Naqvi highlighted the deep-rooted friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and China, referring to CPEC as a landmark initiative that has strengthened the bond between the two nations.

The Minister affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the security of Chinese nationals, mentioning that extensive efforts have been made to implement foolproof security measures. He also appreciated the cooperative attitude of Chinese citizens and their role in ensuring the effective implementation of these security protocols.
