Int’l Plastic Bag Free Day being observed today

International Plastic Bag Free Day is being observed today to create awareness among public about fight against plastic pollution.

In her message on International Plastic Bag Free Day, Chief Minister of the Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif highlighted the serious threat of plastic pollution and called for decisive action to address the issue.

She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ending the use of plastic bags in Punjab.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif urged citizens to support the government’s efforts by ensuring the implementation of the law banning the production, sale, and use of plastic bags.

She emphasized the goal of creating a plastic-free Punjab, where rivers, parks, and cities are free from plastic pollution.
