Islamabad Finance Minister Briefs PM on Economic Conditions, Prepares for US Visit

Islamabad, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore to discuss the current economic conditions of Pakistan and brief him on his forthcoming engagements in the United States. The meeting focused on the overall economic strategies and the Finance Minister’s scheduled discussions with major global financial institutions.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during their meeting, Minister Aurangzeb outlined his upcoming trip to the United States where he is set to meet officials from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, and other significant entities. These meetings are aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s economic ties and securing further financial support and collaboration.

The discussions between the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister highlight the government’s proactive approach to addressing Pakistan’s economic challenges and securing international partnerships to bolster economic stability.
