Islamabad, In a significant crackdown on criminal activities, the Islamabad Police Anti Robbery and Dacoity Unit (ARDU) has arrested a woman accused of participating in a series of house burglaries across the city, posing as a domestic servant.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operation was carried out under the strict directives of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aimed at intensifying efforts against criminal elements to curb crime in Islamabad. The arrest of Sardaran Bibi, a noted member of the burglary gang, was achieved through the effective use of both technical and human resources by the ARDU team.
During her arrest, police recovered stolen cash, and subsequent investigations have led to multiple cases being registered against her. The police continue their investigations to unravel further extents of the gang’s operations.
The police have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” or the “ICT-15” app to assist in maintaining public safety.
