Islamabad Senate Chairman Pledges Support for Poor, Unemployed, and Urban Development

Islamabad, Senate Chairman Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting underprivileged communities and promoting employment and urban development in Pakistan. In recent discussions with various delegations in Multan, Gilani outlined his vision for future projects aimed at enhancing the living standards of the less fortunate and revitalizing urban areas.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Gilani expressed his intent to oversee development initiatives that will soon materialize, benefiting the poorer segments of society. He emphasized the People’s Party’s (PPP) dedication to creating employment opportunities for the youth and his personal ambition to transform Multan into a “city of lights,” signaling a significant urban improvement plan.

These commitments highlight the Senate Chairman’s strategic approach to addressing some of the most pressing social and economic challenges facing Pakistan today, including unemployment and urban development.
