Karachi, September 22, 2023 (PPI-OT): Nestlé Pakistan’s Chief Executive Officer, Joselito “Jason” Avancena, paid a visit to the OICCI on September 21, 2023, accompanied by Muhammad Rahat Hussain, Corporate Manager of Media Relations and Public Affairs at Nestlé Pakistan. During their visit, they had a meeting with M Abdul Aleem, CE/Secretary General, and Kashif Shafi, Executive Director, to address the challenges faced by foreign investors in Pakistan. The primary purpose of their visit was to gain insights from the chamber regarding the current economic situation in Pakistan and its potential impact on businesses.
Mr. Jason Avancéna sought the OICCI’s perspective on various business-related matters and expressed his support for the OICCI’s efforts in providing a comprehensive and unbiased assessment of the business landscape in Pakistan. He commended the Chamber’s role in promoting investment in Pakistan and explored potential avenues for Nestlé to become actively involved in future OICCI projects.
