Karachi, Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tesori, praised journalists for their dedication to duty under challenging circumstances during a special reception ceremony held for senior journalists. The event was organized by the Sindh Media Forum, where the contributions of notable journalists were recognized.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori highlighted his personal relationship with the journalists and acknowledged the work of Mazhar Abbas, GM Jamali, Fazil Jamili, Majeed Abbasi, AH Khanzada, Rashid Memon, Shabbir Ghori, and Javed Chaudhry. The governor underscored the continuation of public welfare projects, mentioning initiatives like free breakfasts for schoolchildren in collaboration with the Selani Trust and the expansion of IT courses in Hyderabad and Sukkur.
Governor Tesori expressed a commitment to addressing the needs of the people, emphasizing that the efforts initiated from the Governor House demonstrate the power of good intentions in overcoming challenges. He confirmed that these projects are funded without official state funds.
The event also saw participation from various dignitaries, including Muhammad Salim Khan, Director General Public Relations Sindh, International Wrestling Champion Bilal Afridi, and Zahid Ibrahim Bhatti, Administrator of the Fishermen’s Cooperative Society Limited. Moinullah Shah, President of the Sindh Media Forum, presided over the ceremony, and Forum General Secretary Siddique Chaudhry gave the welcome speech.
