JS Bank Limited Announces Closure of Transfer Books for TFC Redemption

Karachi, JS Bank Limited (“JSBL”) has announced the closure of its transfer books for the redemption of Term Finance Certificates (TFC). According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the closure is related to the upcoming redemption of TFC-IV issued on December 28, 2021, bearing the symbol JSBLTFC3. The books will remain closed from June 15, 2024, to June 28, 2024, for the determination of entitlements.

The redemption pertains to the payment of the fifth coupon of these certificates, due on June 28, 2024. TFC holders are requested to contact the bank’s registrar, M/s. CDC Share Registrar Services Limited, at CDC House, 99-B, Block ‘B’, S.M.C.H.S., Main Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi, to update any changes in address or income tax exemption status immediately. The announcement was made public through notices published in “The News” and “Daily Jang” on June 1, 2024.
