Kachhi Cracks Down on Price Violations to Combat Inflation

Kachhi, In a decisive move to regulate market prices and protect consumers from inflation, Assistant Commissioner Dhader Qazi Pervaiz, under directives from Deputy Commissioner Captain Retired Jameel Ahmad Baloch, convened a meeting with the Price Control Committee of Rand Ali/Dhader Bazar. The meeting aimed to enforce compliance among shopkeepers with the official price list for various food items.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during the assembly, which included members from Anjuman Tajran and other sectors of the business community, Assistant Commissioner Pervaiz mandated all shopkeepers to visibly display the fixed price list outside their shops and warned of heavy fines for non-compliance.

He emphasized the administration’s commitment to making essential goods available at reasonable prices, ensuring affordability for the local population. The Price Control Committee was also tasked with conducting surprise inspections across the city to monitor and enforce price regulations strictly, signaling a rigorous approach to prevent overcharging and exploitation.
