Kachhi District Preps for Independence Day with Enhanced Security and Celebrations

Kachhi: Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Captain Retired Jameel Ahmed Baloch, the District Intelligence Coordination Committee convened to finalize plans for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations on August 14, focusing on security measures and public festivities throughout the district.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting saw participation from various district officials including Superintendent of Police Captain Retired Dost Muhammad Bugti, and Assistant Commissioners from Dhader, Much, and Bhag, among others. They discussed detailed arrangements for security and festivities, including organizing educational programs, flag hoisting ceremonies, and lighting up government buildings.

Specific instructions were given to the District Education Officer to organize patriotic events in schools, and the Chief Officer of the Municipal Committee Dhader was tasked with ensuring that government buildings are adorned with national flags and lights. All assistant commissioners were directed to oversee flag hoisting and related activities in their respective sub-divisions, culminating in a grand flag hoisting ceremony at the district headquarters, complete with a salute to the national flag by the police and Levies’ chalk and choband squad.
