Karachi Advisor Sets Deadline for KatchiAbadi Collection Target, Warns of Transfers

Karachi, In a decisive move to improve operational efficiency, Syed Najmi Alam, Advisor to the Chief Minister on Livestock, Fisheries, Human Settlement, Special Development, and Social Housing, has imposed a strict deadline for the annual revenue collection by the Department of Human Settlement Authority, commonly known as Kachiabadi. The announcement came during a key meeting with department directors and other officials, signaling a significant shift in management expectations.

According to Chief Minister Sindh, the meeting saw the participation of all significant stakeholders, including the Director General of Kachiabadi, Muhammad Nadeem. During the session, the Secretary of Kuchiabadi briefed Advisor Najmi Alam on the current performance metrics of the department, revealing a concerning shortfall in the annual collection target. The meeting highlights a critical juncture for the Department of Human Settlement Authority as it strives to fulfill its financial objectives amidst increasing scrutiny and demands for performance improvement.
