Karachi Business Community Postpones Strike Following Governor’s Assurance

Karachi: The business community of Karachi Sadar Market has decided to postpone their planned strike after receiving assurances from Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri regarding their concerns over electricity prices.

According to Sindh Governor House, a delegation led by Faheem Ahmad Noori, President of All Sadr Alliance of Market and All Mall Association Karachi, met with Governor Tesuri at the Governor House. They discussed the pressing issues faced by traders, particularly the rising costs of electricity which have significantly impacted their operations. Governor Tesuri committed to communicating these concerns to the relevant authorities in Islamabad to seek relief for the traders.

The delegation expressed gratitude towards Governor Tesuri for his proactive approach and personal efforts to address the difficulties faced by the business community. This meeting has led to a temporary suspension of the strike, providing a respite for both the traders and the local economy as discussions continue.
