Karachi City District Government and town administration started 15 day cleanliness

Karachi: City District Government and town administration started 15 day cleanliness drive on Thursday. On the first day of clean and green Karachi campaign, City District Government Karachi performed cleaning and repair work on three corridor zones.

The staff of Works and Services Department completely removed debris from Kashmir Road, Jamshed Town and Cleaned culvert near DEC College in Muslimabad in Corridor Zone-I, while removal of debris at Shaheed-e-Millat Road was underway.

On Corridor Zone-IV the staff of W and S removed wall chalking and slogans from Flyover at the junction of Shahra-e-Quaideen and Shahrah e Faisal and Baloch Colony Bridge. All the debris at Shahrah e Faisal near Delhi Sweet House were removed completely while catch-pits clearing at Shahra e Faisal from Nursery to Karsaz was in progress.

On Corridor Zone-III, cleaning of nullah and catch-pits was started on Road 10000, 12000 and 15000 while road surface drains were cleaned on both tracks of Road 8000 from Brooks Chowrangi.

In Bin Qasim Town road side debris were removed in UC-1 and UC-2 while in Shah Faisal town cleaning work was performed at Azeempura Road.
