Two Youths Arrested in Cordon and Search Operation in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Indian troops have arrested two youths in the Islamabad district of Jammu and Kashmir during a cordon and search operation. The operation is part of ongoing security measures in the region, which have seen increased activity across multiple districts.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the arrests occurred in the Mulsoo Seer area of the district where Indian army and police personnel were conducting a joint operation. Officials noted that the youths were apprehended during a routine checkpoint inspection. In a related incident, another Kashmiri youth, Ghulam Qadir from Doda district, was also detained under similar circumstances.

The operations extend beyond Islamabad district, with Indian troops continuing their search activities in Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama, Rajouri, Poonch, and Kathua districts, indicating a widespread security crackdown in the region.
