Amir Muqam Leads Discussion on Enhancing Revenue from Jammu and Kashmir State Properties

Lahore, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam, presided over a meeting focused on the management of state properties of Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting aimed at increasing revenue from these assets through various directives issued to the concerned authorities.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Muqam instructed the officials to raise the rent for shops and plazas owned by the Jammu and Kashmir State Properties, suggesting a payment system in installments. He also ordered a comprehensive survey of unoccupied plots and shops in Punjab, to be completed within two weeks by NESPAK, a Pakistani engineering consultancy.

Additionally, Muqam called for actions to cultivate hundreds of acres of barren land in various districts, aiming to boost agricultural output and improve land utilization under the jurisdiction of the state properties.
