Karachi Development Authority Honors Dawn News Correspondent Tahir Siddiqui

Karachi, Tahir Siddiqui, a correspondent for Dawn News, was honored by the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) with the Sindh culture award “Ajrak” and a souvenir for securing third position in the Karachi Marathon. The ceremony, which took place in the presence of KDA’s senior officials, recognized Siddiqui’s achievement in the Senior Citizen Category of the Fifth Commissioner event.

According to Karachi Development Authority, the award was presented by Director General Syed Shujaat Hussain during a special ceremony attended by Member Admin Naveed Anwar, Member Finance Waryal Indhar, Director Recovery Muhammad Jameel, Director IT Kamal Ahmed Siddiqui, and KDA spokesperson Akram Sattar. The event not only celebrated Siddiqui’s personal accomplishment but also highlighted the importance of community and cultural engagement.

The presentation of the Ajrak, a traditional Sindhi shawl that symbolizes respect and honor, underscores the KDA’s commitment to fostering a sense of pride and recognition within the community.
