Lahore, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar announced today that a delegation comprising over one hundred top business leaders from Pakistan will accompany Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his upcoming visit to China. This visit is aimed at finalizing business-to-business agreements with Chinese companies, which is anticipated to significantly boost Pakistan’s economy and investor confidence.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar, speaking at a news conference in Lahore, stated that the business delegation will depart for China tonight and will cover all its expenses. The visit intends to foster deeper business-to-business cooperation across various sectors, including information technology, steel, agriculture, and industry.
The interactions between Pakistani and Chinese business communities are expected to strengthen economic ties and partnerships. Furthermore, Tarar highlighted recent government efforts to combat inflation, noting that the prices of essential commodities are at their lowest in the past 29 months. He also mentioned recent reductions in petrol and diesel prices, which are likely to lower transportation costs.
