Karachi leaders discuss infrastructure and cleanliness initiatives

Karachi, In a significant meeting held at the Governor House, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab and Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori convened to address critical urban issues including the maintenance of infrastructure and the cleaning of drains in Shahr Quaid. The discussions focused on improving basic facilities for residents and ensuring the environmental readiness of the city, especially in anticipation of the rainy season.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori emphasized the necessity of timely and continuous cleaning of canals in Shahr Quaid to prevent flooding and maintain sanitation standards. Mayor Wahab highlighted the positive impact of recent initiatives, particularly the introduction of IT classes, which are part of a broader effort to enhance the quality of life in Karachi under the Governor’s leadership.

The meeting underscored the commitment of both officials to tackle the ongoing challenges facing the city and to work collaboratively on solutions that ensure the well-being and safety of its residents.
