Srinagar, June 29, 2023 (PPI-OT): Amid restrictions, raids and crackdowns, Kashmiri Muslims are observing yet another Eid-ul-Azha under brutal Indian military occupation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, today. According to Kashmir Media Service, as South Asian Muslims are celebrating Eid with all religious zeal and fervor, the Kashmiri people continue to suffer under the shadows of Indian guns for the past over seven decades. All Muslim festivals including Eidul Azha have lost meaning to the Kashmiris who are facing killings, arrests and torture on daily basis.
Eid-ul-Azha is the name of sacrifice and the Kashmiris are sacrificing their lives for the cherished goal of freedom from Indian subjugation, and they are determined to continue their struggle till last Indian soldier leaves their motherland. Kashmiris are optimistic that the day is not far when they will celebrate Eids and other religious festivals with all freedom and liberty.
