KCEU Chairman condemns attack on Bacha Khan University

Srinagar, January 22, 2016 (PPI-OT): The Chairman of Kashmir Council European Union (KCEU), Ali Raza Syed has strongly condemned terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda. Ali Raza Syed in a statement issued in Brussels termed the brutal act as an assault on struggle against ignorance in the country, saying universities are centres of knowledge and attacks on such institutes are not acceptable. He expressed deep grief on the loss of innocent lives of faculty members and students in the attack.

He also expressed sympathies with those who lost their loved ones in the cowardly attack. Ali Raza Syed also appreciated Pakistan’s armed forces’ operation against the militants involved in the attack on the Bacha Khan University. He said that the KCEU always condemned the terrorism and extremism in any shape and anywhere in the world.
