Khuzdar: The city of Khuzdar has kicked off its Independence Day celebrations with the start of a sports festival, featuring a series of events aimed at boosting community engagement and spirit. The festival began with a badminton match at the Officer Club Khuzdar, where the Deputy Commissioner’s team claimed victory over their opponents.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Arif Khan Zirkun highlighted the broader scope of the festival during his address at the event. He mentioned that the sports festival is part of a series of Independence Day activities, which will also include competitions in educational institutions, elocution contests among children, and further sports events. Upcoming cricket and football tournaments are expected to draw significant participation from local players and fans, enhancing the festive atmosphere in the region.
