Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Higher Education, Meena Khan Afridi, has emphasized the urgent implementation of the e-transfer policy designed to streamline personnel transfers within the education sector, making the process more efficient and transparent.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Minister Afridi chaired a meeting where she instructed officials to hasten the implementation of the e-transfer policy. The meeting involved a thorough review and discussion of the e-transfer software, which includes features to prioritize widows and disabled individuals, aiming to reduce human intervention and prevent biases in the transfer process.

Minister Afridi outlined that the e-transfer system would automate transfers, eliminating political influence and the traditional nepotism associated with such decisions. She highlighted that the policy would ensure a merit-based system that considers factors like domicile, disability, and service in hard areas. The goal is to foster a fair and corruption-free environment in educational staff placements throughout the province.
