Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Adviser Criticizes Defamation Law in Punjab

Peshawar, Adviser to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations Barrister Dr. Saif has said that defamation is an anti-human law in Punjab, accusing the Sharif family of implementing oppressive laws at both the federal and provincial levels.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barrister Dr. Saif stated in a press release that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party stands with the journalist community to block the path of this law. He criticized the current administration, alleging that it is trampling on the constitution and promoting fake activities. Dr. Saif called for an end to what he termed as a fake government.
