Khyber Pakhtunkhwa plans economic boost for Khyber district

Peshawar, A strategic meeting between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Endowments and Religious Affairs, Sahibzada Adnan Qadri, and Finance Advisor Muzamil Aslam focused on prioritizing development funds for the Khyber district, with plans to transform it into an economic hub for the region. The discussions also covered the allocation of funds to newly merged districts and the initiation of additional development projects following the June budget approval.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, both leaders underscored the importance of these development initiatives as critical to the economic growth and stability of the region. Minister Adnan Qadri stated that post-budget, the focus would shift to ramping up development projects to facilitate Khyber district’s emergence as a key economic center. Advisor Finance Muzamil Aslam emphasized that providing development funds to the newly merged districts remains a top priority, ensuring balanced regional development and economic integration.

The meeting marks a significant step in the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and services in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s less developed areas, aiming to boost their economic output and improve quality of life for local residents.
