Karachi: The Karachi Interbank Offered Rate (KIBOR) showed slight variations across different tenors, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan. The latest figures indicate minor adjustments in both bid and offer rates for various time frames, ranging from one week to one year.
The one-week tenor exhibited a bid rate of 10.94 and an offer rate of 11.44. For the two-week duration, the bid rate was recorded at 10.95, with an offer rate of 11.45. The one-month tenor saw rates of 10.96 and 11.46 for bid and offer, respectively.
In the three-month category, the bid rate stood at 11.11, while the offer rate was 11.36. The six-month tenor displayed a bid rate of 11.14 and an offer rate of 11.39, showing slight movement compared to shorter durations.
The nine-month tenor registered a bid rate of 11.15 and an offer rate of 11.65. Lastly, the one-year tenor showed a bid rate of 11.14, with the offer rate reaching 11.64.
The minor fluctuations in KIBOR rates are indicative of steady trends in the financial market. The rates are an essential reference for lending and borrowing in the banking sector, affecting both corporate and consumer finance.
