Kot Addu Power Company Announces Board Meeting to Review Annual Accounts

Islamabad: Kot Addu Power Company Limited has scheduled a board meeting for September 3, 2024, to deliberate on the annual accounts for the period that concluded in June 2024 and to discuss potential entitlements. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this announcement is aligned with PSX regulations.

The meeting is set to take place in Islamabad and will address the financial outcomes and operational performance of the company for the past fiscal year. The board will also consider the declaration of any possible entitlements based on the company’s financial health.

In compliance with PSX Regulation 5.6.1(d), the company has also declared a closed period from August 24, 2024, to the date of the meeting on September 3, 2024. During this time, no director, CEO, or executive is permitted to buy or sell company shares, either directly or indirectly.

This precaution is designed to prevent insider trading and ensure that all shareholders are treated equitably and have simultaneous access to important financial information. The company has notified TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange about the meeting and the closed period to maintain transparency and regulatory compliance.
