KP Assembly Passes Resolution Supporting Islamabad Peace Talks

Cairo: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution supporting the Islamabad peace talks between the US and Iran. The resolution emphasized that peace, stability, and regional cooperation are essential for long-term security and development.

According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan People’s Party parliamentary leader Ahmad Karim Kundi, who moved the resolution, highlighted Pakistan’s role in mediating between the US and Iran, contributing to a ceasefire. The Assembly reaffirmed that political dialogue is the only path to sustainable peace and called for inclusive participation of all stakeholders to ensure regional stability and socio-economic development.
