Islamabad, The 24th edition of the Asian Forum Information Technology Commerce Network (ITCN) is set to commence in Lahore from Thursday, promising a significant convergence of global and local technology enterprises.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the event, running from Thursday to Saturday, will feature over 700 stalls with participation from renowned technology companies from Pakistan and around the world. Minister of State for IT and Telecom, Shaza Khawaja, will serve as the Chief Guest, while Deemah AlYahya, Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, will attend as a special guest on the inaugural day.
This year’s ITCN is particularly notable for its substantial international presence, with a delegation of investors from 12 countries bringing a combined capital investment potential of $500 million. The event will host several key gatherings, including an IT Summit, a Global Security Symposium, a Gaming and Scholars Round Table, an Investor Summit, a Freelancer Summit, and a Made in Pakistan Round Table Conference.
Event Director Umar Nizam highlighted that under the directives and policies of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, the Pakistani tech ecosystem is expanding its reach into the Gulf region and Western markets, signaling a robust growth phase for the country’s technology sector.
