Landslide in Ramban Claims Life of Teenager, Damages Houses

Jammu, A devastating landslide in the Karool area of Ramban district resulted in the death of a teenager and significant damage to two houses. The incident occurred on Monday in the region of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, local officials reported that continuous heavy rains triggered the landslide in Karool hamlet, leading to the destruction of residential properties. The landslide also tragically struck a 13-year-old boy, identified as Yaqub Hassan Mir, resulting in his death.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, and police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law to address the tragedy and assist the affected families.
