Landslides Force Closure of Srinagar-Jammu Highway in Ramban

Srinagar, The Srinagar-Jammu highway, a vital transportation route in the region, was closed to traffic on Monday following landslides in the Ramban district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the highway has become impassable, with authorities, including Traffic Police officials, recommending the public to avoid the route until debris from the landslides is cleared. The blockage, particularly noted near Khooni Nalah, has stopped traffic from both directions on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.

With ongoing clearance efforts, authorities are working to restore access as quickly as possible, but for now, the highway remains closed, impacting travel and transport in the area.
