His illustrious career spanned over half a century, beginning in 1940 in Delhi, and he became one of the most revered figures in Pakistani performing arts.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar have all expressed profound grief at the passing of Talat Hussain. They praised his significant contributions to the arts and his unique ability to bring characters to life, notably in the acclaimed London Channel Four TV series ‘Traffik’. The leaders have extended their condolences to his family, acknowledging the irreplaceable loss to the world of arts and praying for the elevation of his soul.
