Loralai Deputy Commissioner Inaugurates Sports Week at University

Loralai: Deputy Commissioner Miran Baloch officially opened the Sports Week at the University of Loralai on October 17, amidst a warm reception from the university’s student body. The week-long event will feature a variety of sports competitions, including football, badminton, cricket, and jus-kushi, aimed at promoting physical activity and mental development among students.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Baloch, during his opening remarks, emphasized the importance of curricular activities and sports for the comprehensive development of students. He highlighted the need for providing adequate recreational opportunities to foster a robust, active, and mentally agile youth capable of contributing to national and international platforms.

The Sports Week at the University of Loralai is part of a broader initiative to cultivate a passion for sports and encourage regular participation in physical activities, which are essential for maintaining health and mental well-being.
