Karachi, Lucky Core Industries Limited held a Board of Directors meeting on June 19, 2023, wherein they discussed and approved the annual budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024. Concurrently, the company made a significant decision to cancel the scheduled Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM).
During the meeting, the Board of Directors reviewed and approved the annual budget, outlining the financial plans, targets, and strategies for Lucky Core Industries Limited for the upcoming fiscal year. The approved budget reflects the company’s vision for growth, operational efficiency, and shareholder value enhancement.
Additionally, the Board of Directors made an important decision regarding the increase in the authorized share capital of the company and the alteration of the Articles of Association (AOA). After careful consideration, the Board chose not to proceed with these agenda items as previously disclosed in the letter dated May 31, 2023 (reference no. LCl/ComSec/38/2023).
Consequently, the scheduled Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM), which was slated to be held on June 22, 2023, has been officially canceled. The company has withdrawn the relevant agenda items and has decided not to proceed with the proposed changes to the AOA and the increase in authorized share capital. Consequently, the book closure period, initially announced from June 15, 2023, to June 22, 2023, stands canceled as well.
