Malaysia Pledges to Strengthen Cooperation with Pakistan through Technical Programme

Islamabad, Malaysia has signaled a strong commitment to deepen its ties with Pakistan, focusing on cooperation through the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP). This intent was conveyed during an Iftar dinner hosted by the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, aimed at former participants of the MTCP.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Mazlan emphasized the event’s role in promoting ongoing engagement and reinforcing the enduring friendship between the two nations. He highlighted the broad spectrum of bilateral relations that span trade, investment, education, tourism, culture, defense, and technical assistance in human capital development.

The reaffirmation of Malaysia’s dedication to enhancing its relationship with Pakistan through the MTCP underscores the value placed on collaborative efforts in various sectors, indicating a mutual desire for strengthened ties and shared growth between the two countries.
