Malik Ahmed Khan elected as Punjab Assembly Speaker

Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, the candidate representing the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has been successfully elected as the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly.

The polling was conducted today within the confines of the Punjab Assembly’s Chamber.

During the Speaker’s election, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan secured 224 votes, while the opposition’s candidate, Ahmed Khan Bhachar, attained 96 votes.Top of Form
