MCB Bank Limited Announces Credit of Final Cash Dividend for 2023

Karachi, MCB Bank Limited has officially announced the credit of its final cash dividend for the year 2023, as detailed in an advertisement set to be published in the Daily “Business Recorder” and the Daily “fang” on April 03, 2024. The announcement complies with Rule No. 5.6.9 (b) of the PSX Rule Book.

The bank has declared a Final Cash Dividend (D-84) at the rate of 90%, equivalent to PKR 9.00 per share, for the quarter ending December 31, 2023. This dividend has been credited directly into the designated bank accounts of shareholders who have submitted all required documentation, including valid CNIC/ NICOP/ NTN/ Passport details and complete IBAN (International Bank Account Number) information.

In accordance with SECP regulations, MCB Bank has withheld the dividend for shareholders who have yet to provide the necessary documentation.

Additionally, the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) has introduced the Centralized Cash Dividend Register (CCDR), an e-Services web portal. This portal contains details of cash dividends – paid, unpaid, or withheld – by listed companies and maintains a history of dividends paid. Shareholders can access their dividend information via the CCDR at https://eservices.cdcaccess.com.pk and also obtain the Dividend/Zakat and Tax Deduction Report from their stock brokers or directly via registered email addresses.

Shareholders who have not received their dividend(s) are advised to contact the Share Registrar and Transfer Agent of the Bank with a written request that includes their Folio/CDC Account Number. The bank has committed to electronically remitting any withheld dividends within 15 days upon receipt of the required information.
