Srinagar, Mehbooba Mufti, the President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged voters in Jammu and Kashmir to use their electoral power to oppose the 2019 abrogation of Article 370.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a meeting in Awantipora-Tral, Mehbooba voiced the sentiment that the revocation of Article 370 remains widely opposed by the residents of the region. She highlighted the importance of the current elections, not as a referendum on local development, but as an opportunity for the populace to protest the legislative changes imposed in 2019.
