Karachi, In response to guidance from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE), Millat Tractors Limited has announced a change in its book closure dates due to the coinciding Bank Holiday on the first day of Ramadan 1445, which falls on March 12, 2024. The alteration aims to address potential dividend entitlement issues for shareholders, as March 12 will be observed as a non-settlement day at the Exchange.
Originally scheduled to start on March 13, 2024, the book closure will now commence a day earlier, on March 12, 2024, and will extend through March 14, 2024, inclusive of both days. The company has notified shareholders that transfer requests received at the office of the Company’s Share Registrar, CDC Share Registrar Services Limited in Karachi by the close of business on March 11, 2024, will be considered valid for the purpose of the dividend entitlement.
This adjustment in the financial calendar is communicated for the benefit of the shareholders of Millat Tractors Limited and the certificate holders of the Pakistan Stock Exchange to ensure smooth processing during the bank holiday period.
