Minister for SAFRON Reviews Operations at Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees in Peshawar

Islamabad, In a significant visit aimed at overseeing and enhancing support structures for Afghan refugees, Amir Muqam, the Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON), toured the Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees in Peshawar. The visit underscored the government’s ongoing commitment to effectively manage and support the refugee population in the region.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Commissioner for Afghan Refugees, Muhammad Abbas Khan, provided the Minister with a comprehensive briefing on the operational dynamics, service provisions, and future initiatives of the Commissionerate. Minister Muqam highlighted the critical need for the efficient utilization of resources to fulfill the Commissionerate’s objectives, emphasizing the significance of the support services provided to the Afghan refugee community.
