Minister Tarar Affirms Constitutional Protection for All Citizens at Justice Cornelius Tribute

Lahore, During a ceremony held today to honor the contributions of retired Justice A.R. Cornelius, Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar emphasized that Pakistan’s constitution ensures equal and comprehensive protection for all citizens, including minorities. The event focused on reaffirming the nation’s commitment to the principles of tolerance and equality envisioned by the founding leaders.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Tarar highlighted the constitutional guarantees that protect the rights of minorities in Pakistan. He referenced the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet (PBUH), which advocate for the rights and protection of minority communities. The minister also reiterated the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, emphasizing the creation of a tolerant society where all individuals can coexist in harmony.

Further, Minister Tarar mentioned the government’s efforts to provide a conducive environment for minorities to freely practice their religions.
