Islamabad: A delegation from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) met with Federal Minister Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Laghari and the Federal Secretary of the Power Division today to address the persistent electricity problems facing Karachi. According to Ministry of Energy announcement issued on 06 August 2024, the discussions were in-depth, focusing on Karachi’s specific challenges in electricity supply and distribution. The delegation was briefed on the ongoing reforms intended to enhance the efficiency and reliability of power services in Pakistan’s largest city.
