Muzaffarabad, A significant rally titled “Solidarity Palestine and Jammu Kashmir Rally” was held in Muzaffarabad, advocating for the rights of Palestinians and Kashmiris, with participants demanding an independent state for Palestine and self-determination for Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the rally commenced from the Old Secretariat and concluded at Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk. It featured strong anti-Israel and pro-Palestine, as well as anti-India and pro-freedom, slogans, with speakers condemning the violence against civilians in Palestine and the Indian military’s occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
The participants urged the international community, particularly the Security Council, to enforce stringent sanctions on Israel to adhere to ceasefire resolutions and pay homage to the martyrs of Gaza. They also emphasized that India’s control over Kashmir through military means and terrorist acts is untenable, advocating for the United Nations to act decisively in implementing resolutions for resolving the Jammu and Kashmir conflict.
The rally concluded with prayers for the martyrs of both Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir and calls for the liberation of these regions. Prominent community leaders and activists participated, uniting their voices for the cause of freedom and justice.
