Naqash urges India to settle Kashmir dispute through talks

Srinagar, March 13, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader and the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash has urged India to settle
Kashmir dispute through talks in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the ongoing liberation movement was justified and India would never succeed in crushing or suppressing it through military might and oppressive tactics. The time has proved that India totally failed in eliminating the anti-India and pro-freedom sentiments of the Kashmiri people.

Naqash said that India needed to read writing on the wall and resolve the lingering dispute so that permanent peace could be established in the region. He said that the people of Kashmir would were determined to continue the liberation struggle till taking it to its logical conclusion.

The APHC leader prayed for early recovery of the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani and also condoled the sad demise of the uncle of. Zafar Akbar Butt and Tufail Ahmad Butt and expressed solidarity with them.
