Naseerabad Authorities Bolster Security Measures for Muharram Processions

Naseerabad: A comprehensive security plan for the upcoming Muharram observances was outlined in a high-level meeting chaired by Commissioner Naseerabad Division, Moinur Rahman Khan. Key security officials and district heads convened to finalize the arrangements, ensuring the safety of mourning processions throughout the division.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting included deputies and security personnel from various districts who detailed the preventive steps taken in their areas. Commissioner Khan emphasized the importance of extraordinary security measures starting from the first day of Muharram, including route clearances for processions, extensive CCTV monitoring, and the establishment of monitoring cells in each district.

Security plans will be coordinated between the Deputy Commissioners and Senior Superintendents of Police to handle the processional routes effectively. Enhanced snap checking, active policing, and heightened patrol on the Sindh-Baluchistan national highway and railway tracks are also mandated to ensure a peaceful environment for travelers and locals alike.
